The Cliff Hall Hotel is a traditional family run hotel. Built in 1854 and containing many Victorian features (originally built for an Admiral) this historic property boasts the most spectacular views of the South coast. Assured of a friendly welcome, the position is perfect for Shanklin Old and New towns and overlooks Shanklin esplanade and the beach. Being situated on the edge of the famous cliff path it also is ideally situated for a leisurely stroll or a full cliff walk for the more enthusiastic. Exclusive to residents is the secluded heated swimming pool and games room, offering table tennis, TV and a full size snooker table (somewhere for the older kids to get away from their parents!!!! Food & Drink NEW FOR 2012 A CASUAL DINING OPTION – A LA CARTE MENU AVAILABLE !!!!! All courses will be individual priced and you can choose your meal options. Order 1 / 2 or 3 courses. You can also choose where you would like to eat. ie: In the Dining room / Bar or Garden. Our Casual A La Carte dining option gives you the flexibility to choose when you want to eat in or eat out. Simply book your accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis and then choose from the menu in the evening. This menu will consist of traditional pub food. This complements our new Metro hotel status, which indicates that many eateries are within walking distance. Our dining room, which takes full advantage of the wonderful pool and sea views has an informal atmosphere, so you can relax in the way that you choose. A breakfast buffet service is available for juices, cereals and fruits plus a full hot breakfast menu is also available. An a la carte menu is available. However this is not available at certain times of the season. Please see tariff for further details. New at the Cliff Hall hotel, available in July and August only is our exclusive breakfast package. This involves an extended breakfast service served between 8.30am and 10.00am. Concentrating on local produce where possible we are offering a more varied menu including, traditional English, full continental, selection of pastries, yogurts, fruits and fish complimented by an upgraded tea selection and off course freshly brewed coffee. For those on bed and breakfast, if you would like to eat in, just ask to see the menu at breakfast. Children can eat from the main menu or chose from our children's menu. We pride ourselves on our friendly service and hospitality, so please ask for anything you may need. The bar is large and spacious with entertainment facilities and leads on to the conservatory, where you can enjoy a bit of tranquillity during the day. We offer entertainment as and when required, this can consist of quiz and games nights and live music, to karaoke. |

| Accommodation Check Availability & Book Now We have 26 guests rooms within the Hotel, including triples, singles, twins, doubles and family rooms. We also have cots & highchairs for infants. These are free of charge, please request at time of booking. Our rooms are comfortable and pleasantly furnished, with over 50% of them offering sea views. Many of the rooms have outlooks towards Sandown Bay, Culver Cliffs and Shanklin Chine. You can also enjoy the fantastic sea views either from our garden, dining room or conservatory. NEW FOR 2012 – JUNIOR SUITES AVAILABLE. These will be ground floor wheelchair friendly and one will have a wet room. Available to all with a maximum occupancy of two people. There is a small supplement for rooms with sea views, please enquire at time of booking, also a single supplement does apply on any room other than a single room if needed for sole use. All rooms are en-suite with bath or shower and have hospitality trays, colour tv, central heating or heaters, toiletries and towels. We do ask that guests kindly bring their own pool side towels. Premier/Superior rooms all have king size beds and superior sea views. Available from £12-20 extra per room per night. Some ground floor rooms now equipped with limited disabled facilities.
