The holiday Cottage is a recently converted old stone dairy, situated towards the southern side of the Isle of Wight within easy walking distance of the attractive village of Niton, where you will find an excellent grocery store, butcher, chemist, hardware store, pubs and a hairdresser.
It is comprised of a spacious living room with underfloor heating, a dining area and garden doors leading out to an enclosed patio and garden. The kitchen has a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Upstairs is a large bedroom with three 3 foot beds. Downstairs is a double bedroom with underfloor heating. Downstairs is a bathroom with shower. Some ceilings are low.
There is off-road parking by the property and you can use the table tennis room and play area attached to our small caravan site. We are dog friendly here - so no need to leave your best friend behind!
Niton is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with wonderful walks up to St. Catherines Down and along the coastal footpaths and cliffs.
Castlehaven is the nearest rocky cove, about a twenty minute walk away, and the seaside town of Ventnor with pretty beaches and superb choice of restaurants about a fifteen minute drive. Compton Bay is further along the coast to the West with its unspoilt beaches and good surf. Look out for the fossilised dinosaur footprints!
There are many different attractions on the Island. Popular with the children are Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill or the IW Glassworks and Chessell Pottery. There is ten pin bowling and ice skating in Ryde, or the zoo at Sandown with its white tigers, plenty of good, clean beaches or just admiring the beautiful and unspoilt scenery.
