Seaview Hotel Restaurant

The Restaurant is ‘A class act’ The Times
Good food coupled with relaxed informal dining is at the heart of the Seaview Hotel. We try to keep our food offering as ‘local’ as possible and work with a multitude of island suppliers.

The Restaurant has been awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand for creative, affordable food – on average 3 courses are £28. There’s a focus on fish and seafood with a good choice of meat and vegetarian options.
‘Being able to work with such fresh ingredients is a real treat and we endeavour to bring sustainability to the table by supporting local suppliers and sourcing responsibly.’

Liam Howes is one of the youngest and most talented head chefs on the Island. He began his career at 15 as an apprentice and has worked his way up the ranks. ‘My mum ignited my passion for cooking, she was an extraordinary cook and made a homemade meal from scratch every evening for the family. One of my favourite things to do as a kid would be to go through the store cupboards and try new flavour combinations and now I do that for my job! It’s all about having a good palate, the skills and being brave enough to experiment.’
