The Leconfield celebrates it’s 9th Anniversary under the ownership of Cheryl and Paul Judge in February 2013. Cheryl and Paul came to the Island and their new home in February 2004 with the intention of making their guests feel like a family visitor yet with all the creature comforts of a country house hotel. Support from regular and new visitors to the Island has enabled them to grow and develop the house, moving it into the 21st century without losing sight of its Victorian roots in Bonchurch. All rooms have been upgraded to an individual high standard; from most you will enjoy panoramic sea views. Luxury rooms are also available for those special occasions. Dining has also moved forward with much local support. Menus are carefully planned to incorporate fresh local produce wherever possible. Combined with comfortable lounges and gardens overlooking the English Channel a meal at the Leconfield is turned into a special occasion. Chef, Jason has attained an AA rosette for outstanding cuisine awarded for the Fifth year 2012/13 Cheryl and Paul look forward to welcoming friends old and new to this lovely Island and to their beautiful home.
