Cowes week is a spectacular sailing event that takes place in August each year and is regarded as one of the UK's longest running and successful sporting event of its kind. Although sailing is the top billing this is also a great day out for everyone with live music, street entertainment, stores and food available.
The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival near Newchurch is a great day out and packed so full of entertainemt, live music, craft and Island produce stores it makes the perfect event for all the family to enjoy - garlic lovers or not.
The Garden Fair is set in the beautiful grounds of Wolverton Manor, near Shorwell, and features over 120 Island and mainland exhibitors representing a wide range of gardening and country arts and crafts.
