The Isle of Wight Offroad Duathlon will be staged at the fantastic IOW Mountain Bike Centre on Shorwells' Cheverton Farm. A challenging 5km (or 3km for the Sprint distance) trail run over downland, through copses and along ancient pathways is followed by a 20km (or 10km) mountain bike ride on purpose built trails
Exhibition of hand-built animals and birds, wheel-thrown porcelain, watercolours and abstract paintings by Island artist Jeanne Mills-Holland and her daughter Justine Mills.
Competitors come from all over the UK, other parts of Europe and as far away as the USA to take part in the Round the Island Race and follow the 50 nautical mile course round the Isle of Wight. Starting on the famous Royal Yacht Squadron line in Cowes, the race is a great opportunity to watch world-renowned sailors racing against families and first time racers.
