The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival near Newchurch is a great day out and packed so full of entertainemt, live music, craft and Island produce stores it makes the perfect event for all the family to enjoy - garlic lovers or not.
Bestival is a award winning music festival set at Robin Hill near Newport that spans 4 days. This is an amazing event for music lovers and is normally themed with amazing acts and brilliant atmosphere
Cowes week is a spectacular sailing event that takes place in August each year and is regarded as one of the UK's longest running and successful sporting event of its kind. Although sailing is the top billing this is also a great day out for everyone with live music, street entertainment, stores and food available.
The annual Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival, held in December, showcases over 160 theme-decorated Christmas trees, exhibited in 6 locations: St Mary’s church; the Methodist church; the Wilberforce hall; the Reading Rooms/Social Club; and The ‘Three Bishops’ Public House, all in Brighstone village; and in St Peter and St Paul’s church in neighbouring Mottistone.
