"I just wanted to say thank you so much for your help in finding us accommodation last minute at the Shanklin Hotel. It was an absolutely superb hotel with lovely helpful staff. We walked into the beautiful Shanklin village in the evening upon our arrival. Had a delicious meal at the steak house and then walked through the chine down to the little pub at the bottom. It was truly enchanting a place we will all remember. On the Saturday we all set off for the Garlic Festival which was great fun, great food and great entertainment. After a little round of Crazy Golf on the seafront in Shanklin we went back into the village for cocktails in a little bar we found and then onto a great Indian restaurant. The Sunday we went to the little cove at Ventnor and around the botanical gardens, following that we went onto Alum Bay then Yarmouth. We managed to fit in sooooo much it was incredible."

In the end I ended up staying at The Belmont. I thought it worth passing on some feedback. We both loved the hotel which was excellently located and a really lovely place to stay but the thing that stood out most of all was how amazingly friendly and accommodating the proprietors were - such nice people.
I would strongly recommend the Belmont for any other queries you get in the future. It was excellent.
