YMCA Winchester House is situated on the south east coast of the island, on the cliff top between Sandown and Shanklin. Winchester House is a short drive from Fishbourne, East Cowes and Yarmouth car ferry ports and the foot passenger ferry ports of Ryde and Cowes. Lake train station is just a 10 minute walk along the cliff top path and regular bus services provide links to island attractions. 2 miles of sandy beach are right on our doorstep.
From East Cowes ferry, second exit at roundabout onto Well Road, A3021, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin.
From Fishbourne ferry, B3339 (Fishbourne Lane), A3054 to Ryde (Esplanade), straight along the Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round to the right onto A3055 to Sandown, A3055 to Shanklin.
From Yarmouth ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin.

Train from Ryde train station or Ryde pier head (from Catamaran), to Lake train station. Alternatively, use the Number 2 or 3 bus routes from Ryde Bus Station (on Esplanade)
From West Cowes: Number 1 bus route to Newport. Change at Newport Bus Station to Number 2 or 3 bus route.
From Yarmouth: Number 7 bus route to Newport. Change at Newport Bus Station to Number 2 or 3 bus route.
