Welcome to isleofwight.com. Our website includes a comprehensive range of everything that is great about the Isle of Wight. “The Garden Isle”, as it is known, offers a vast array of holiday accommodation for every taste and budget. There are hotels, bed and breakfasts, holiday parks, self catering holiday cottages, caravan and camping parks and boutique hotels. There is something for all the family, couples, youngsters and hopeless romantics looking for that special break.

The Isle of Wight is perhaps one of the most special places in the UK to enjoy as a holiday or short break. Located just off the south coast, you will sail away to a beautiful Island and leave the “hustle and bustle” of mainland Britain behind.  The short ferry journey across the Solent is both inspiring and relaxing.

The Isle of Wight has so much to offer, from the Isle of Wight Festival, Bestival andGarlic Festival to our miles of stunning walks and cycle tracks. Much of the Isle of Wight has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and the rolling downlands that form the backbone of the Island extend to the towering white cliffs at Alum Bay in the west and Culver Cliff in the east.  We have superb beaches of golden sand at Sandown, Shanklin, Lake, Ryde and Colwell to pretty coves and bays, such as Ventnor and Steephill. For those wanting a more dramatic backdrop and a spot of surfing and fossil hunting, try Compton and Brook – you won’t be disappointed.

Approximately 23 miles by 13, the Isle of Wight has long since been noted for its beauty and scenery and breathtaking views and coast line. Indeed, it has attracted the likes of Dickens, Tennyson and of course Queen Victoria, who made Osborne House at East Cowes her home in her later years.

Fun for the whole family is guaranteed in our endless range of attractions and activities  – lovers may fall in love all over again and walkers, cyclists, campers, caravanners and sportsmen and women of all ages will thrill at the challenges ahead. The Isle of Wight has something for everyone and all ages groups.

The Island also offers a wealth of specialist restaurants offering fresh, Isle of Wight produce from both the land and of course the sea with Ventnor Bay crab and lobster is often found on menus.  We also have an array of pubs and restaurants that offer good value for money for those looking to stay with us on a bed and breakfast or self catering basis.

Wherever you go on the Isle of Wight, one thing is for sure.  You will always receive a warm welcome and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Our motto is “a place to stay is a click away”, so we look forward to welcoming you soon on the Isle of Wight.
