A week of events and celebration 1-7 October 2016

Age Friendly Island is delighted to coordinate the Celebrating Age Festival with numerous generous partners committed to celebrating older island residents and bringing our communities together.

There will be a number of events taking place across the Island at the beginning of October.

Saturday, 1st October 2016

Event: Vintage Tea Party

Venue: Ryde Library

Time: 10:00 – 16:00

Cost: Free

Description: Vintage Tea Party 1pm – 3pm. This will be run by the Friends of the Library volunteers. 10 – 1 IT Help and Support 2 – 4.00 Light exercise and breathing exercises Also find out about: Falls Advice, Age Friendly Island, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Trading standards. Also for the children, enjoy story/activity sessions in the children’s area themed around dementia – and take part in the Tombola.
