A week of events and celebration 1-7 October 2016

Age Friendly Island is delighted to coordinate the Celebrating Age Festival with numerous generous partners committed to celebrating older island residents and bringing our communities together.

There will be a number of events taking place across the Island at the beginning of October.

Sunday 2nd October 2016

Event: Walk and Tea with the Iow Ramblers

Venue: Yarmouth – Yar Estuary – IOW Ramblers

Time: 14:00 onwards

Cost: Walk: Free Tea and Cake: £4

Description: Start time 2pm at CHOYD Hall (no parking available here), a 4 mile walk around the Yar estuary, and tea will be provided at 4pm with a short talk about the benefits of walking to physical and mental health. Please contact David 759823 to book your tea and pay on the day.
