An event every week that begins at 8:00am on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, repeating until December 31, 2017

Visit Osborne to celebrate the festive season where there is a delightful setting of Queen Victoria’s palace by the sea. Recall how Christmas was celebrated by Queen Victoria and her family and how many of the Christmas traditions became popular under the patronage of Queen Victoria and her consort Prince Albert.

Enjoy the festive spirit as rooms are decorated ready for Christmas with tables and trees glistening under the glowing lights.

Costumed expert guides in each of the ground floor rooms will help you discover how Christmas was celebrated at Osborne when Queen Victoria and her nine children were in residence.

Taste festive fare in the cafe with delicious hot or cold lunches and afternoon tea. Browse for unusual Christmas gifts from our range of food, drink, books and games.

Enjoy a crisp winter stroll through the grounds and admire the stunning views towards the Solent.

There’s no need to book and there’s a special reduced admission ticket for the winter.
