Elena Margolina has become the prize winner of many famous piano and chamber music competitions, among them the International Piano competition in Glasgow. Elena is often engaged throughout Europe and overseas, has had performances with leading orchestras and has also played under prominent conductors. She is welcomed as a guest in the large European concert halls, and has had a great number of TV and radio recordings.
Earl Mountbatten Hospice’s established series of concerts suit all musical tastes and feature the talents of professional musicians from the Isle of Wight and beyond. Each concert is held on the first Thursday of every month, between 7:30pm and 9:30pm, (with some additional concerts throughout the series), in the lounge area of the John Cheverton Centre. Tickets cost just £10, and include a glass of wine and a selection of delicious canapes.
