Isle of Wight Day

September 24, 2016

isle of wight day

Let’s Celebrate The First Ever Isle Of Wight Day. Come and join us and have some fun. Whether you live, work or visit the Island we’d love you to make it a party day that no one will ever forget.

An initiative of our High Sheriff, Robin Courage to celebrate all that is good about the Isle of Wight. The aim to bring together everyone who lives, works, visits or has a connection with the Island to have some fun, enjoy and mark this very special place on one day every year.

With its golden beaches, beautiful countryside and historical background the Island also has a wonderful community of talented, interesting and diverse people. Isle of Wight day is about bringing them all together and having one big party, covering the Island in bunting to show the world what a fabulous place this is.

How to Join In…

Hang out bunting

We would love to cover the Island in bunting from every building, street, window, tree or flag pole.

Buy the Isle of Wight bunting or make your own and wave the flag.

Have a party

At home, at the office, on the beach, in the community centre, at school – this day is for you so celebrate.

Take photos

We want to create a lasting record of the first Isle of Wight Day. A unique collection of photographs showing people at work, at play, at school taken that will be available on our website and in a book.
