The Isle of Wight Waling Festival

April 28 @ 8:00 am - May 13 @ 5:00 pm

Isle of Wight Walking Festival 2018
SPONSORED BY WARNER LEISURE HOTELS

The popular Isle of Wight Walking Festival returns in 2018, sponsored by Warner Leisure Hotels.

Join the 2018 Isle of Wight Walking Festival and take part in one of the UK’s longest running walking festivals. Discover unique routes with experienced local walkers and enjoy an extensive walks programme that includes walks with titles such as ‘Ups and Downs’, ‘Beach Bugs and Bones’ and ‘Getting Bogged Down’ , The popular Isle of Wight Challenge and fundraiser Earl Mounbatten Hospice’s Walk the Wight also form part of the festival.

Get up close and personal with the best of the Island’s stunning scenery; journey from the beautiful chalky cliffs of the west coast to the lush green rolling hills of the east. The Isle of Wight is often referred to as ‘England in Miniature’, so in just one day of walking could see the very best of the English countryside from sand dunes and pebbly coves to thatched villages and bustling sailing towns.

2018 festival dates are from the 28th of April to the 13th of May. There are multiple opportunities for walks – and some of those will introduce you to Island wildlife, or tell you stories about the Island’s varied and interesting past.

Lace up those walking boots and set off on your very own adventure through the English countryside!
