Sam Sheasby is another amazing talent from the Island. At the tender age of 20, he is one of the most accomplished singer/songwriters to hail from our fair isle. Currently performing as a soloist, Sam’s work falls into the style of alternative country/soft rock with his influences including Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer and Ryan Adams, His storytelling, thought-provoking lyrics and tranquility can truly capture an audience.
Earl Mountbatten Hospice’s established series of concerts suit all musical tastes and feature the talents of professional musicians from the Isle of Wight and beyond. Each concert is held on the first Thursday of every month, between 7:30pm and 9:30pm, (with some additional concerts throughout the series), in the lounge area of the John Cheverton Centre. Tickets cost just £10, and include a glass of wine and a selection of delicious canapes.
