ACCOMMODATION A three bedroom converted boathouse with pool and water frontage onto Wootton Creek.   Separate hallway/boot room/cloakroom as you enter the property.   Downstairs shower room located off hallway with WC and wash hand basin.   Large open plan lounge/kitchen diner.   Kitchen with breakfast bar, electric cooker/hob, large American style fridge/freezer & dishwasher.

Utility room with washing machine, microwave and clothes airer. Washing line outdoors.

Lounge area with log-burner,2  arm chairs, large 3 seater sofa, day-bed (for extra seating) or can convert to single bed with pull out bed underneath (on request), 32 inch TV with DVD player & iPod docking station. Wifi.

Dining area with table and seating for 6.   Stairs leading up to first floor   Large family bathroom with free-standing bath with creek views and ‘his and hers’ sinks & WC.

Bedroom One: Twin bedroom with double wardrobe and overhead storage. Books & Toys. Fantastic Creek views.   Bedroom Two: Twin bedroom with door leading out to balcony overlooking pool/creek. (table/seating for 2), chest of drawers.     Bedroom Three: Master bedroom with double bed, large chest of drawers. Ensuite shower room with wash hand basin & WC. Fantastic creek views.   French doors lead out from lounge to terrace/patio area.

Outside: Use of large swimming pool overlooking creek (pool is heated to take off the chill and shared with the owners, who live in a house at the top of the 1 acre garden) Patio table, chairs & BBQ Use of pontoons and slipways Use of Garden Use of double and single canoes, life jackets, fishing rods and crabbing lines   Moorings: If you would like to moor your boat on the pontoon during your stay please contact us for availability.

East Cowes, only 15-20 mins away by car. Rebel Marine is located close by (2 mins walk away) and offers luxury RIB trips – ideal for a special treat or corporate event. They also offer boat Hire, dinghy’s, paddle boards(SUP’S) kayaks and bike hire for your landbased activities. As guests of Driftwood Boathouse, a special rate for rentals is available. East Cowes is famous for Osborne House, home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, Osborne Golf course, Marina, Heritage Centre and various sports and leisure activities. If you enjoy walking, Firestone Copse is an attractive area of forest located very close by, and noted for its wide-ranging tree species, from oak to soaring spires of Grand Fir. You can follow one of the trails that criss-cross through the forest, winding down to the still waters of Wootton Creek.

The tranquil Benedictine Monastery Quarr Abbey is 10 minutes walk away along the coastal path by and welcomes visitors to its tea garden for afternoon tea and cake, or lunch, using some of the monks very own locally produced ingredients. You can learn about the monastic life at the Visitor Centre, view exhibitions by local artists and feed the resident pigs with special food purchased in the on-site farm shop.

Nearby Isle of Wight Steam Railway is a great day out for the family, taking a ride from Wootton on a vintage steam train to Havenstreet station. There is a Discovery Centre, museum, café and children’s play are
