Springvale Beach is a mixture of shingle and sand and stretches from Puckpool to Seaview, the beach has stunning views across the Solent to Portsmouth and the Spinnaker Tower and is an great place to watch the boats go by. The sea here is very clear and the gradient of the beach makes the water quite shallow at both high and low tide, perfect for paddling and young children.
This beach is often overlooked by visitors making it a good place to avoid the crowds in the busy Summer months. The more easterly end of the sea wall is made up from large stone blocks, shaped into an elegant design by the sculptor John Maine.
There are no nearby shops but there is a popular gastro pub,at the Puckpool end of the beach and also a café at the nearby Puckpool Park.
There is non- restricted parking for around half of the length of the sea wall and the parking at the easterly end is ticketed.
