The Duver Beach, St Helens, Isle of Wight
St Helens Duver and beach now falls under the care of the National Trust and it is a great place to visit and explore. The beach is mainly of sand and the bathing is safe. When the tide goes out, this is a great place to explore the rock pools.
You can walk along the shoreline to Seagrove and Priory Bays, which are also very secluded. There is plenty of parking and a delightful cafe/restaurant is positioned overlooking the beach and sea.
The Duver itself is a sandy outcrop to the side of Bembridge Harbour which was once a golf course and it is a lovely place to walk and take dogs and kids, who will love the wide open space.
