Meadowview holidays is located in the village of Niton near a working farm and is great for those looking to escape to the country. The family-run site has a number of caravans and a small self-catering cottage converted beautifully from the old dairy barn. The park makes an ideal haven away from the stresses of everyday life.
Meadowview nestles on the side of a hill, just a few minutes walk from the village with its shops and local pub. All the caravans have panoramic countryside views. Ventnor is fifteen minutes away by car and the picturesque West Wight with its stunning coastal views is just around the corner. The busy county town of Newport is a short drive away.
Surrounded by open fields and close to National Trust Downland, Meadowview really is the perfect base for your Isle of Wight holiday
Meadowview is a well-established site with many clients returning year after year. It is still family run and every effort is made to help you enjoy your stay, with the owners offering a personal but not obtrusive service.
The site has ample parking close to the caravans and a spacious grassed area in front. There is a small outdoor playground set to one side, suitable for young children. The site also has a traditional table tennis room for family use. Facilities also include a good sized utility room with large sink, washing machine and iron/ironing board.
There are seven caravans at Meadowview.
Five of the caravans have three bedrooms and two caravans have two bedrooms. All the caravans have panoramic views.
The double bedrooms are spacious and well decorated and offer plenty of wardrobe space.
There are duvets on all beds. You will need to bring your own covers, sheets, pillowcases and towels
The twin bedrooms are well laid out to ensure maximum comfort. All twin rooms also have good storage space.
The spacious lounge has an array of comfortable seating, plentiful storage space, a Calor gas fire and a television, and offers views over the surrounding countryside.
The lounge also offers a separate dining area.
Each kitchen includes gas cooker with oven and comes equipped with fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and a full range of crockery and cutlery.
Every caravan also has a toilet and shower room.

Meadowview Holidays also have one holiday cottage, sympathetically converted from the farms original stone dairy.
Dairy Cottage offers a traditional cottage holiday with all modern conveniences. Situated behind the original farmhouse and close to fields and National Trust countryside, Dairy Cottage makes a wonderful base for your holiday.
The cottage has a spacious living room with underfloor heating, with a dining area with views across the countryside.
For those warm summer days, double doors from the lounge lead out onto a private enclosed patio garden, just perfect to catch the sunshine or for that evening BBQ.
The modern kitchen has a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and comes fully equipped with crockery and cutlery.
Upstairs is a spacious triple bedded room.
Downstairs is a double bedroom with underfloor heating. Both rooms have spacious storage areas.
There is also a fully equipped modern bathroom.
There is off-road parking by the property and you can use the table tennis room and play area attached to Meadowview caravan site.
Just like the caravans, Dairy Cottage is also dog-friendly.
A few minutes walk from the site lies the village of Niton. Niton is a pretty village with a long history which can be seen from the wonderful array of thatched and stone cottages and Victorian houses, that line the small roads. There is a well-stocked convenience store, a local Newsagents and Tea Room, a Chemist shop and a wonderful store selling local crafts and many other items.
There is also a beautiful village church, St John the Baptist.
Holidays aren’t complete without a visit to the local pub of course. Indeed, Niton has its own pub, The White Lion, set in the heart of the village which offers a friendly atmosphere and a good menu. In fact, those looking to eat out are spoilt for choice with a number of excellent pub restaurants in the area. The White Horse in the village of Whitwell (two miles down the road) has an extensive menu and is renowned for its excellent food. The White Mouse in Blackgang is very family friendly with plenty of space.]]>
