Guest Reviews

I had a wonderful stay in Newtown. The room was clean and the surrounding area was stunningly beautiful and tranquil. Brenda and Peter helped me go to town and were very gracious hosts. Breakfast was superb! Highly recommended! Tim Watermeyer, Toronto, Canada Dear Peter & Brenda Just a note to say a huge thank you for a wonderful weekend at the beautiful Newtown Creek Retreat. After a hard day’s sailing, it was such a treat to come back to a fantastic meal and extremely comfortable beds! The setting is just stunning and so peaceful it makes our tiny village feel busy! All in all, we were so chilled and were so well looked after, I didn’t want to leave! Hope to see you both again soon! Best wishes and thanks again, Fran x Brenda and Peter’s cottage is an amazing bed and breakfast and I have never stayed at more relaxed and charming place. If you need some peace and quiet while you are surrounded by beautiful nature this is the place you should stay at. The location is great, it’s not too far from the ferry but far enough from the main road to escape any traffic noise. Driving through the woods is very spectacular and at the end of your journey you find the lovely welcoming cottage (Brenda and Peter make sure to leave the light on the porch at night and it feels like coming back home). The rooms are lovely, good sized with a VERY comfortable big bed. Breakfast will definitely keep any person going till lunch. I have stayed at Brenda and Peter’s retreat twice and I definitely will be coming back, they just make sure that your stay is completely relaxing. For me it feels like home from home. Thank you, Kasia Peter and Brenda’s charming bed and breakfast is in a lovely location, and is perfect for a getaway in peaceful surroundings. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast will keep you going for hours! You will be made to feel most welcome. If you haven’t been to the Isle of Wight before, Peter and Brenda will gladly make suggestions and recommendations of places to go. My 6 year old daughter and I had a lovely stay and will most definitely be back to stay at the retreat. Diana and Ellie]]>
