If you haven’t booked your holiday on the Isle of Wight then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
We have some of the greatest events and things to do and they are waiting for you to come and visit. This month we have the Island’s carnivals, Cowes Week, The Isle of Wight Proms and the FANTASTIC Jack-Up the 80’s.
We also have great attractions and things to do, like Robin Hill Country Park with their Summer Slide, Blackgang Chine celebrating 175 years in the business, the Donkey Sanctuary, The Tiger Sanctuary and The Isle of Wight Monkey Haven to name just a few.
If you thought the Isle of Wight was small compared to Devon or Cornwall, you would be right, but we have so much action and fun packed in, we really are the “Party Island” and somewhere the whole family will enjoy coming to again and again.
See You soon……
The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary is based between Shanklin and Ventnor on the road to Wroxall and we are open all year round from 10:00am till 4:30pm, weather permitting. Everyone is welcome to come and visit our lovely donkeys including well-behaved dogs. The charity relies entirely on donations, adoptions and the many fundraising activities held throughout the year. Come and see these beautiful and characterful creatures.
The Isle of Wight Zoo is a family-run zoo with a special interest in tigers and lemurs. The zoo was built within the ruins of a Victorian Fort built to guard Sandown’s coast, which means we face one of the Isle of Wight’s nicest beaches. Once upon a time the zoo owners used to walk tiger cubs on the beach, and we’re still famous locally for it. Nowadays we focus on looking after older tigers and giving them a happy retirement.
Monkey Haven is a multi-award-winning attraction that makes animals happy… and people happy. This Isle of Wight animal sanctuary is Number 1 on TripAdvisor and the best small attraction in England, according to the tourism chiefs at VisitEngland.
West Wight Alpacas is a trekking and alpaca stud farm set within 23-acres of picturesque countryside in the village of Wellow on the Isle of Wight and is home to a wonderful herd of unique Suri alpacas. There is also a great cafe/restaurant there called the Llama Tree which is well worth a visit.
We have great events for you to enjoy and take part in every day during the summer, whether it be a festival, summer fair, fireworks or a show.
Comfortable, clean and catered clubhouse with balcony viewing areas overlooking 500m all-weather, outdoor track. Adrenaline-packed action for anyone aged from 8 to 88. A fantastic addition to the Island’s list of must-dos attractions in any weather. All equipment provided.
Fun for ALL the Family.
We’ve been growing Garlic on the Isle of Wight ever since Granny planted the first garlic crop in her kitchen garden in 1972. Her son Colin has since travelled the world seeking out the history and origins of garlic while his wife Jenny experimented in the farmhouse kitchen with different garlic pickles and chutneys. We now offer an ever-expanding range of garlic inspired products from garlic chutney to beer and ice cream.
