Sandown is located on the south east coast of the Isle of Wight and lends its’ name to the Bay.  Sandown has been a top resort for generations and offers some of the best beaches on the Island, with miles of golden sand that run along the coastline to Yaverland in the North and Shanklin and Luccombe in the south.

Sandown plays home to the Isle of Wight Zoo which was where “Tiger Island” was filmed, a sanctuary for tigers from around the World.  The town also has Dinosaur Isle, which is a museum displaying fossils from the Islands’ Pre-historic visitors.
