Brighstone is a pretty little village with thatched cottages and tearooms which makes this an ideal spot for visitors wanting a relaxing holidays with old world charm. Brighstone is also home to the Christmas Tree Festival a wonderful local event that has been running since 1996 and is held in at St. Mary’s Church and the Wilberforce Hall in Brighstone and the St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church in Mottistone. The four day festival showcases 120 decorated Christmas trees, carol services, military band concerts and the lighting of the hospice tree.
